Since I work in a creative field, you can pretty much wear what ever you want as long as you don't smell.  However, you want to look professional when you have an important meeting but comfortable enough to run around a set and in the field. To have the best of both worlds, sneakers are a great alternative to flats that don't always give you the support you need when you're on your feet all day. I'm not even going to talk about heels. That's just suicide!

It's really all about balance. If you're going to wear sneakers your top can be a nice blouse, colorful print, a collar shirt or even a basic-T. Just make sure it's paired with a blazer. The blazer will pull the look together and make you look sophisticated, fun and stylish. You can even wear a cute skirt or dress with sneakers as long as your kicks are fresh to death (or on fleek! LOL). Don't wear wide leg pants or boot cut jeans. They will just cover your sneakers and the whole point to this look is to showcase them.
