As the founder of DeFortyFive, a lifestyle space rooted in creativity and sustainability, and the visionary behind Finders Frames, Mawuli has redefined upcycling by transforming accessories—particularly hats and eyewear—sourced from Ghana’s iconic Kantamanto Market. His work reflects a deep connection to traditional Ghanaian dress while pushing the boundaries of sustainable fashion and design.
As a stylist, Mawuli has collaborated with internationally celebrated artists such as Burna Boy, Major Lazer, Mr Eazi, Manifest, Angelique Kidjo, Worlasi, Pure Akan, and Marvin Brooks, blending cultural authenticity with contemporary flair to create striking visuals.
In his role as a creative director, Mawuli has turned innovative concepts into impactful campaigns for global brands including Coca-Cola, Vlisco, Condé Nast, and KFC.
